Frequently Asked Questions:

step 1: check "Custom corsets" or browse my social media and choose a style you like, or create a mood board for your own design with inspiration photos, colors, and any details or ideas you have in mind.

step 2: contact me via e-mail or social media

step 3: Once we’ve agreed on the details of your design, I’ll provide you with a quote and send you instructions on how to take your own measurements for the corset. Alternatively, we can meet in person so I can take your measurements. If you need a little help, we can arrange a virtual coffee, where I’ll show you step by step on a mannequin how to take each measurement yourself, while I note them down as we go.

step 4: You wait while I add your order to my waiting list. I’ll let you know as soon as I’m ready to start working on it. As your project comes to life, we may have a few additional questions for each other, so we’ll stay in touch throughout the entire process. 🙂

step 5: The corset leaves my studio, and you get to enjoy a new gem in your wardrobe.

The production time for your order depends on when the full payment or deposit is received, the number of orders I am currently working on, the complexity of your design, any changes made during the process, the availability and delivery times of materials and components — especially those ordered from abroad — as well as holiday periods and other seasonal factors.

The waiting time can range from two weeks to several months or longer, depending on the factors mentioned above.

Once we’ve agreed on the details of your design, you can pay in cash, by bank transfer, via PayPal, or using BLIK instant payment. For custom made-to-measure orders, payment in cash after the order has been completed is not available. These orders require payment in advance.

Your order can be shipped by:

  • registered post
  • DPD or InPost courier
  • InPost parcel locker

Any other shipping method or cost, including international shipping, is arranged individually.

Yes.

Within the EU, orders are shipped using courier services such as DPD or FedEx. Outside the EU, orders are shipped via Polish Post or, upon request, by DPD or FedEx courier.

For hygiene reasons, underwear that comes into direct contact with intimate areas, such as the crotch, cannot be returned or exchanged.

Made-to-measure corsets and custom designs cannot be returned or exchanged either.

Products purchased from my online store or directly from my studio as part of the standard collection can be returned or exchanged. You can find detailed information about returns and exchanges here: Order Terms and Conditions (§6 Right of Withdrawal)

Since 2023, you can first request that a faulty product be repaired. Only after that can you request a price reduction or withdraw from the contract. If the defect is significant, you may withdraw from the contract immediately. In practice, the available solution depends on the cause of the damage:

1. Damage during shipping – contact me and send photos of the damage. I’ll repair or replace the product and handle the claim with the courier myself.

2. Damage caused by use contrary to the care instructions (e.g. getting the product wet despite a warning on the label) – this is not considered a product defect. Repairs are not free of charge and are only possible if the damage can be repaired.

3. A defect caused during production (e.g. improperly secured boning) – I’ll repair it at my own expense.

4. Damage caused by heavy or prolonged use (e.g. boning eventually wearing through the fabric) – repairs are available for an additional fee, with the cost assessed individually.

5. Incorrect self-measurements or a change to the original design – I can make adjustments, but this is an additional paid service.

In all cases, start by emailing me at rememo.art@gmail.com and include photos. Based on these, I’ll assess the issue and let you know what the next steps are.

Yes. Please let me know that you require an invoice before I start working on your project.

A mock-up is, simply put, a test version of the corset. It is made from unbleached cotton, which can be easily marked and drawn on with a marker or pen, w celu przetestowania wykroju docelowego gorsetu.

What mockup is for?  This fitting stage allows any necessary adjustments to be made before working on the finished piece.  A mock-up is particularly recommended for overbust corsets, curvier and/or asymmetrical body shapes, fuller busts, and sometimes for remote orders when we can’t meet in person to take measurements or when you’re unsure whether the measurements you’ve provided are accurate.

Seasoning is a process that gradually prepares both your body and the corset for increased compression and tension on the material.

This process is similar to breaking in a new pair of shoes.

The seasoning process should take around two weeks, with the corset worn for approximately two hours each day. On the first day, wear it loosely without tightening the lacing too much, allowing the corset to settle naturally at your waist. Over the following days, gradually tighten the lacing by around 0.5–1 cm every two days. While wearing the corset, avoid intense physical activity, such as bending or running. This time is best spent relaxing — for example, reading a book or watching a film.

Don’t worry if your corset isn’t fully laced after two weeks. The seasoning process may take longer than 14 days and depends on your body and how it responds to wearing the corset.

At first, the corset may flare out slightly at the top and bottom. which is completely normal. As you gradually tighten the lacing, the corset will begin to conform to your body and the top and bottom edges will sit closer against it.

Detailed information about the seasoning process can be found in the instructions included with every order.
